To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Toei's app service, Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club (TTFC), it has been announced that a completely original new special effects film, "Folticus Streaming! The One Who Carries On His Favorite," will be produced and streamed exclusively on TTFC in early summer. This new special effects film does not belong to any existing lineage such as "Kamen Rider" or "Super Sentai," and will feature a new hero, Folticus. Koichi Sakamoto will serve as director, Junichiro Ashiki will be writing the script, and Tsuyoshi Nonaka will be in charge of design. Actors Fuku Suzuki, Tatsuomi Hamada, and Rena Takeda will triple-star as Folticus. It has also been announced that voice actor Daisuke Ono will be voicing Folticus.
A teaser visual was released with the tagline "You're the next hero!", showcasing the new hero, Fortix. Fortix's transformation cry is "Stream!", and he is searching for "someone with a conscience" for a certain reason.
Director Sakamoto commented, "I am overjoyed to be in charge of the 10th anniversary commemorative work for TTFC! Every time I work on TTFC I get to take on new challenges, which is always fun, but this time I'm having especially fun (laughs). I've been involved from the original planning stage, and I can't contain my excitement as this is a new project that will launch a completely new hero! I'm sure that all TTFC members and special effects fans will be thrilled, and even those who have never seen special effects before will find plenty to enjoy! Please look forward to it!"
The artists performing the theme songs were also announced. Singer MindaRyn will perform the opening theme song, while Masami Okui and Yuki Tanaka will perform the ending theme song.
