WOWOW's "Invitation to Takarazuka" introduces the best performances from each troupe of the Takarazuka Revue. The broadcast (WOWOW Live) from 8:00 PM on February 28th will feature the 2019 Flower Troupe performance of "Boys Over Flowers," with audio commentary by former Takarazuka Revue Flower Troupe top star Yuzuka Rei, who played the role of Domyoji Tsukasa.
This work attracted much attention as the Takarazuka premiere by the Flower Troupe, and a sequel, "Boys Over Flowers II," is scheduled to be performed by the Star Troupe this summer, attracting attention once again.
The audio commentary for this episode will also feature Oto Kuriju and Izumi Maira, who were with Yuzuka at the time. The three look back on the performance with stories they can only talk about now. They will also reveal behind-the-scenes stories from the performance and their thoughts on creating their characters.

"Boys Over Flowers" is filled with heart-pounding numbers and a story that unfolds as the characters' feelings intertwine, and I was reminded once again that it's a work that can make your heart flutter, make your heart race, get you on the edge of your seat, and make you feel close to others. I was also able to have a long, relaxing chat with Oto Kurisu and Izumi Maira, and it was such a happy time that it felt like my "blue spring" had returned. I hope that everyone will be able to fully enjoy the charms of this work through the audio commentary.
