The fourth episode of the popular TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm) starring Suzuki Ryohei aired on February 15th. Suzuki, who plays two roles, managed to trick fans by acting differently, drawing praise from fans, who said things like "The viewers were fooled," "Completely," and "It was so amazing it gave me goosebumps."

Gido (Suzuki) suddenly appears in front of Ichika (Toda Erika) and asks, "Um, would you like to go on a date?" Ichika is surprised, but Gido insists that he wants to get to know her, as they are supposed to be lovers, and ends up accompanying her on a business trip.
Ichika guides Gido to the organization's "secret safe," where Goroku (played by Yukiya Kitamura) has hidden 10 billion yen worth of goods. The goods were to be converted into cash in Japan, laundered, and transferred to customers' overseas accounts.
"With this much, I could live a life of leisure," Gido said, then said something unexpected: "But the fact that he didn't notice this means that he must be quite similar to me. It would be a shame to kill him, Hayase Riku."
Ichika was surprised to hear Gido's low voice. She finally realized that the real Gido was actually alive and had taken on the form of Hayase (Suzuki) who was disguised as Gido.
On social media, the show became a hot topic, with comments such as "I was fooled by the real Gido," "Wow, even the viewers were fooled," "I was fooled by Suzuki Ryohei's acting," and "The difference between Hayase, who is being rebooted as Gido, and the real Gido was so amazing that it gave me goosebumps."
The drama is a suspense story about Hayase Riku, who is framed for the murder of his wife, abandoning his family and past, rebooting himself into the face of corrupt detective Gido, and pursuing the real culprit.
