Visuals of the cast members in kimono have been released for the winter performance of "Reading Series: Four Seasons Winter Takano Hijiri," a stage production directed by voice actor Kazuhiko Inoue. In addition to Inoue, the cast will include a stellar cast of voice actors including Atsushi Abe, Haruki Ishiya, Nozomi Urawa, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Gakuto Kajiwara, Kentaro Kumagai, KENN, Atsushi Tamaru, Masatomo Nakazawa, and Kenji Nojima.
The "Reading Series of Four Seasons" has four performances throughout the year, in spring, summer, autumn, and winter. "Reading Series of Four Seasons: Winter - Koyasan Hijiri" will be the final performance, and will be themed around Izumi Kyoka's short story "Koyasan Hijiri," creating a dense atmosphere where the beauty of the Japanese language and the author's sensibility can be felt through the sound. It will be performed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Club eX (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on February 28th and March 1st. Suzumura Kenichi, who was scheduled to appear in the performance, will be unable to perform due to poor health.
Inoue commented, "I hope that people will enter a space where not only the words but also the sound, lighting, and direction come together, and experience the world of the story using all five senses."
