It has been announced that the seventh and final chapter of " Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199, " the latest installment in the remake series of the popular anime " Space Battleship Yamato ," will be screened from October 30th. A teaser visual drawn by Kia Asamiya, who is in charge of the image drawing, has also been released, featuring Arizona, Sasha, and the Yamato's wave motion gun muzzle. The visual is accompanied by the tagline "A magnificent apocalypse."
"Yamato 3199" is a reinterpretation and reconstruction of "Be Forever Yamato" and "Space Battleship Yamato III." Harutoshi Fukui serves as the general director, and is also in charge of series composition and scriptwriting. Fukui previously handled series composition and scriptwriting for the remake series "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" and "Space Battleship Yamato 2205: A New Voyage," and is now serving as general director for the latest installment. Naomichi Yamato is directing. The series consists of seven chapters, with the sixth chapter, "The Blue Labyrinth," showing from June 26th.
The first "Space Battleship Yamato" anime series aired on television in 1974. A remake of the first series, "Space Battleship Yamato 2199," aired from 2012 to 2014, and its sequel, "2202," aired in theaters and on television from 2017 to 2019. The two-part "2205" was released in theaters in 2021 and 2022.
