As part of the 10th anniversary project for the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, a special edited version of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr Hunt, titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr Hunt - The Journey of a Little Challenger - and a new short film, The Wedge Between Curtains, began streaming and rental on Bandai Channel, NETFLIX, Prime Video, and other platforms from February 1st.
"Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" is set approximately 300 years after the end of the great war known as the Calamity War, and depicts the battles of Mikazuki, Augus, and the Tekkadan. The first season aired from October 2015 to March 2016, and the second season aired from October 2016 to April 2017.
A special edition of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr Hunt," entitled "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr Hunt -The Trail of a Little Challenger-," was released in theaters on October 31, 2026. "Urdr Hunt" is an anime distributed on the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" smartphone app, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G."
The film being screened at the same time, "Makuai no Kusabi," will be directed by Nagai Tatsuyuki and written by Okada Mari, just like the TV anime.
An event commemorating the 10th anniversary, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 10th Anniversary Event - Tekka Festival -" will be held on February 15th at Tachikawa Stage Garden (Tachikawa City, Tokyo).
