It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "A Lazy Farmer in Another World," based on the popular light novel by Kinosuke Naito, which is published on the novel submission site "Let's Become a Novelist," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo, and AT-X from April. Visuals featuring new characters such as Lasshashi, Ig, Mam, and Gruelwald, who will appear in the second season, have also been released.
It was also announced that the opening theme will be "It's a beautiful story" by Lululu-shii-Lu, played by Shimoji Shino, and Tia, played by Suzaki Aya, and the ending theme will be "Sunny Steps" by Hizuki Yui.
The story is a "slow-life farming fantasy" about a young man named Hiraku who dies young after a long illness, but is given a versatile farming tool by a god and transported to another world, where he uses the knowledge from his previous life to live a second life. The original series has sold over 6 million copies. The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2023.
