The third episode of the drama series "Winter Something, Spring Something" (NTV, Wednesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Sugisaki Hana, aired on January 28th. In the episode, a long shot of Sugisaki's character, Fumina, a novelist, walking side by side with her ex-boyfriend Shibasaki (Kura Yuki) while they talk in their hometown has caused a stir on social media.

In episode 3, at the end of the year, Fumina returns to her parents' home in Toyama for a mini-reunion with her high school friends. Her ex-boyfriend Shibasaki arrives late. At the after-party, they go to karaoke and get excited about the reasons why they broke up. Shibasaki was intimidated by the long-distance relationship and broke up when Fumina moved to Tokyo. They now each have their own partners. After the after-party, Shibasaki invites Fumina out to talk to her... and so the story unfolds.
The episode features a scene in which Fumina and Shibasaki are walking along the river and talking. As Shibasaki walks beside Fumina, she tells her that she may be transferred to Tokyo for work. Fumina asks Shibasaki, who is now in a long-distance relationship, "Are you okay? Can we do it this time?" to which Shibasaki replies, "I feel like I can totally do it this time." The two then continue walking slowly, occasionally laughing together and reminiscing about when they broke up.
The four-minute conversation scene between Fumina and Shibasaki became a hot topic on social media, with comments such as "The conversation is natural and wonderful," "The long takes are amazing," and "I was immersed in it."
