The drama is set in the newly established "Complex National Tax Case Processing Office (commonly known as Zakkoku)" of the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau's Document Investigation Division (commonly known as Kome, because of the character for rice, which means "fee"), which boasts high information gathering capabilities and investigative skills in tax investigations. The drama follows the talented investigator Yoneda Seiko (played by Matsushima) as she, along with a group of unique individuals, takes down unscrupulous tax evaders.
The subtitle of the fourth episode is "Massive Tax Evasion! The Sweet Trap of Illegal Refunds," and guest stars include Horiuchi Keiko, Yamazaki Ikinori, Yuki Mio, and Asano Kazuyuki.
The new enemy is a phishing group that offers advice on fraudulent income tax refunds. However, the enemy's true nature and identity remain elusive. Yoneda Masako begins her investigation based on information from her friend Mayumi (Horiuchi Keiko), who was nearly deceived. What's more, Mayumi is Sasano's (Sano Hayato) mother. Sasano asks Mayumi for her cooperation and plans to carry out a decoy operation. Meanwhile, Haijima Naoya (Katsumura Masanobu), secretary to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Takaba Soichiro (Chiba Yudai), goes to the home of Masako's father, Taji (Terao Akira). What is their purpose? The story unfolds.
