The 84th episode of the NHK morning drama "Bakeke" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Takaishi Akari, was broadcast on January 29th, and viewers were captivated by the sight of Toki (Takaishi) and Sawa (Marui Wan) smiling and chatting after missing each other.
As Sawa and Shoda (Hama Masago) are walking after lunch, they bump into Toki and Heaven (Tommy Bastow), who are also out for a walk. Toki is surprised by the unexpected reunion with Shoda, but is happy to see Sawa again after such a long time. Sawa explains that Shoda is helping her study for the teacher's exam. Heaven, who has taken a liking to Shoda, invites Shoda and Sawa to her home.
Sawa and Shoda visit Heaven's house. Heaven enjoys a conversation with Shoda on the veranda, while Toki and Sawa talk alone for the first time in a while. Fumi (Ikewaki Chizuru) seems happy, saying, "But I'm glad. Sawa-chan came." Toki begins, "I'm sorry the other day," apologizing for putting Sawa in the newspaper without her permission. Sawa replies, "No. I was happy. Thanks to that, I felt like I wanted to work harder."
Sawa, curious about the content of Heaven and Shoda's conversation, asks, "Can't you hear it? You're learning English, right? You can't understand it, can you?" Toki replies, "Not at all. I can only understand 'Osawa-chan'," and the two share a laugh.
Toki looked taken aback and asked Sawa, "Could it be that...were we in the way?" "Actually...today...you had a rendezvous (with Shoda)?" Sawa shouted, "A rendezvous?!" and hastily denied it, saying, "No way." When Sawa explained that the two of them had just gone for a walk after lunch, Toki responded, "It wasn't a rendezvous." Sawa replied, "It wasn't a rendezvous! I was just getting some advice," but Toki kept asking, "Really, really?" and Sawa became embarrassed and said, "Come on, stop it."
