The third episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Suzuki Ryohei, will be broadcast on February 1st.
In the previous episode, Hayase (Suzuki), who was disguised as Gido, barely managed to survive when Kaieda (Sakamoto Yoshi), a lawyer and subordinate of Goroku (Kitamura Yukiya), confessed to embezzling tens of millions of yen from the organization.
That night, Hayase and Ichika (Toda Erika) spent the night together in Gido's room. The next morning, Hayase woke up in his bedroom and jumped out of bed, surprised to find Ichika sleeping next to him. As he was tidying up the living room, Gido's wife, Mayu (Kuroki Meisa), came into the room...
In episode 3, Hayase is present when Mayu and Ichika suddenly appear and run into each other. In the tense atmosphere, Hayase takes Mayu outside at Ichika's instruction. He is speechless when he learns that Mayu still has no intention of breaking up with Gido (Suzuki).
When he returns to the Metropolitan Police Department in a state of shock, he finds Mayu there again. Confused by her unusual behavior, Hayase is confronted by Inspector Makita (Hideaki Ito) and Hijikata (Reika Aiki) of the Second Investigation Division. The two have already discovered the relationship between Gido and Goroku's subordinate Fuyuhashi (Ren Nagase), and have been independently investigating Fuyuhashi's "dark side."
The investigation is definitely reaching out to Gido, and Hayase's impatience grows as he is confronted with this reality.
Kaieda begins to act suspiciously in connection with the missing 1 billion yen. With his mind spinning out of control, where does he head?
Hayase discovers a computer in Gido's locker room, which reveals the hidden truth behind Natsumi's murder...
The script is written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, who has worked on many hit Sunday Theatre dramas such as "Grand Maison Tokyo." The suspense story follows Hayase Riku, who is framed for the murder of his wife, as he abandons his family and past, reboots himself as corrupt detective Gido, and pursues the real culprit.
