The draw for the knockout phase playoffs of the UEFA Champions League (CL), which features some of Europe's strongest soccer clubs, will be streamed live on WOWOW Soccer's official YouTube channel from 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
WOWOW will broadcast and stream the Champions League, organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), exclusively live from the league phase to the final in the 2025-26 season.
After the league phase of the tournament, a knockout playoff phase will be held in February for the teams ranked 9th to 24th to advance to the round of 16 (teams ranked 1st to 8th will advance straight to the round of 16). The remaining eight spots in the round of 16 will be decided through home and away matches over two weeks on February 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th (Japan time).
The draw for the knockout phase playoffs will be held in Nyon, Switzerland. Former Japan national team player Kazuyuki Toda and British commentator Ben Mabry will appear as guests on the live broadcast, providing live coverage of the draw along with WOWOW announcer Hiroki Yokouchi, and will offer commentary on the notable match-ups that have been decided.
