It has been announced that the fifth CD featuring character songs from the TV anime "Oshi no Ko," based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), "TV Anime "Oshi no Ko" Character Song CD Vol. 5," will be released on March 25th. The CD will feature B-Komachi's new song "B no Revenge," which is an insert song from the first episode of the third season of the TV anime, which began airing on January 14th. "B no Revenge" will be available for pre-release on various music distribution services from midnight on January 15th.
"B's Revenge" was created by Oishi Masayoshi, who also wrote the lyrics and composed the music for the first season's song "Sign wa B," and is a song that lets you feel a different side to B-Komachi than before. The newly illustrated CD jacket features B-Komachi in her live costume. In addition to "B's Revenge," "Character Song CD Vol. 5" also includes "Cheki Cheki LOVE ME," "MY WILL," and "Kimi Impression." The other three songs, other than "B's Revenge," feature Ruby, Kana Arima, and Mem-cho, respectively, and can be viewed on YouTube's "Oshi no Ko Channel."
The voice actors of B-Komachi have commented on "B's Revenge."Yurie Igoma, who plays Ruby, said, "I think 'B's Revenge' is a song that only B-Komachi can sing now. It's filled with the determination and sharp brilliance needed to fight in this world, and I feel like if you digest it together with the third season of 'Oshi no Ko', you'll be able to immerse yourself even more deeply in the worldview. Personally, I love how the lyrics are sprinkled with stars! It's a song that you should thoroughly enjoy, including the singing parts and B-Komachi 's performance!"
Megumi Han , who plays Arima Kana Arima , said, "I never thought that 'your idol' would return having undergone such changes along with the story. It's a counterpart to 'Sign B,' with minor changes that pay homage, and it also seems to follow the theme songs from the past. As expected from Oishi-san...!! The lyrics are full of shadows, but also sprinkled with honest feelings. The way they are sung is excellent, so I hope you will pay attention to it."
Okubo Rumi, who plays Mem-cho, said, "I felt that in a way, this is an answer song to 'Sign B'. Unlike 'Sign B', which was all about catchy idol songs, I think 'B's Revenge' is a song that expresses the life of an idol who shines despite suffering. A girl who was a cute, dreamy idol suffers some big setback or conflict, but still tries to get back up... It's a song that stirs the imagination, and you can't help but picture such a story in your head, and it gave me goosebumps when I heard it for the first time. I hope you can feel that way. Please listen to 'B's Revenge' as many times as you like!"
Oishi commented, "I wrote the lyrics and composed the music for B-Komachi 's new song, "B's Revenge," which will be an insert song for the third season of " Oshi no Ko." The theme is that the new B B-Komachi, once again on a roll, is taking revenge for the dream that the B-Komachi of that day couldn't achieve, so I wrote the song with a slightly more mature B-Komachi song in mind! I sampled the melody from "Sign wa B" in the song and added various twists to the lyrics! I hope you enjoy it! Thank you!"
"Oshi no Ko " is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka , who also wrote " Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, " and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari , who also wrote " Scum's Wish ."
