It has been announced that the TV anime "Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi," based on the romantic comedy manga by nonco currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and BS11 from 1:00 a.m. on April 4th. A key visual featuring the main characters, including the noble Canaan, has also been released. The illustration depicts the main characters, including the gourmet demon Canaan, and expresses the story's setting of "a demon who has descended to the human world."
The artists performing the theme songs were also announced, with the girl band Faulieu. performing the opening theme (OP) "Hatsukoi Moment" and the VTuber group Aogiri High School performing the ending theme (ED) "Pop Snack Junk na HUNNY."
The series began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in June 2022. It depicts the first love of Canaan, a gourmet demon who descends upon a high school in the human world to feast on the souls of young, sweet humans. Canaan, who is "easygoing and cute" with no romantic experience, ends up signing a romantic contract with Kuiki Youji, a naturally optimistic high school boy.
The anime will be produced by Studio KAI, and will feature Aoi Koga as Takayoshi Canaan and Seiichiro Yamashita as Kugi Yoji.
