It Mushoku Tensei that the third season of the TV anime "Mushoku Mushoku Tensei Reincarnation," based on the popular light novel that originated on the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Narou," will begin airing in July. The third season will cover the story from volume 13 of the original novel, and will feature a new drama and adventure that will be more intense and turbulent for Rudeus than ever before. A teaser visual has been released depicting Eris with a sword in hand and a fierce expression. It was also announced that a new smartphone game, "Mushoku Tensei of Echoes (KuroEco)," will be released in 2026.
"Mushoku Tensei" is a light novel by Rifujin na Magote, which began serialization on "Shosetsuka ni Naro" in 2012. The story follows a 34-year-old unemployed man who dies but is reborn in a fantasy world of swords and magic, where he uses his intelligence and regrets from his previous life to start a new life. It is a popular work considered a pioneer of "Narou-kei" light novels, and has been published in book form by MF Books (KADOKAWA), with a manga adaptation also being produced. The series has sold over 17 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2021 for the first cour and from October to December of the same year, and the high-quality animation produced by Studio Bind, an animation production company established specifically for the series, also became a topic of discussion. The first cour of the second season aired from July to September 2023, and the second cour aired from April to June 2024.
