On Getsuku, actor Hikaru Takahashi attended a press conference held at TV Asahi (Minato-ku, Tokyo) for the drama "Detective, Your Backpack is Open" (Fridays at 11:15pm *excluding some areas), which starts that evening, along with lead actor Ryuhei Matsuda.
Takahashi, who plays Sakai Aoi, the foul-mouthed poster girl for "Fresh Mart Sakai," a store located at the entrance to Nishigaya Onsen, where the story takes place, appeared in a miniskirt that highlighted her beautiful legs. When asked about her impression of Matsuda, the lead actor, she commented, "I don't have many opportunities to work with Matsuda, so I was always nervous (when we were in scenes together), but he was a calm person, like a fluffy cloud, who naturally made me relax." She said she had a great time talking about games with Matsuda, saying, "We had light-hearted conversation. He was a great leader," to which Matsuda laughed and said, "Was he like that?"
Matsuda, the star of the drama, was involved from the planning stage himself, and the drama is a heartwarming mystery that was born in collaboration with screenwriter and director Okita Shuichi. Set in the small rural town of Nishigaya Onsen, the detective and inventor Ichinose Yosuke (Matsuda) solves the strange requests that come one after another in a relaxed manner using unconventional methods, making it a heartwarming story with laughter and tears. The series starts on Getsuku.
Also attending the press conference were Okura Koji, Mizusawa Shingo, Katayama Yuki, and Ken Mitsuishi.
