It has been revealed that the total number of cards sold worldwide for the Gundam Card Game (Bandai), a trading card game (TCG) based on the popular anime series Gundam, has exceeded 500 million. The total number of participants in events has also exceeded 700,000 worldwide, demonstrating the game's global popularity.
It was also announced that Mobile Suit V Gundam and Turn A Gundam will be joining the fourth booster pack, Phantom Aria [GD04], which is scheduled for simultaneous worldwide release on April 25th.
The booster pack "Freedom Ascension [GD05]" commemorating the first anniversary will be released on July 25th, and will include the Strike Freedom Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY," as well as the new addition of "Mobile Fighter G Gundam ." Illustrations of Shining Gundam and Domon Kasshu from " Mobile Fighter G Gundam ," as well as the Shining Finger card illustration, which will be included as a command card, have also been released. A "Custom Deck Box" will also be released on July 25th.
It was also announced that collaboration products with the smartphone app "SD Gundam G Generation Eternal" will be released on June 27th.
