Ryuya Shimekake of the popular group "Travis Japan" attended a press conference held at TV Asahi (Minato Ward, Tokyo) for the drama series "All for You" (TV Asahi, Saturdays at 11pm), which starts on January 10th, and spoke about his desire to travel to a popular resort area.
At the press conference, the cast members were asked about their aspirations for this year. Lead actor Fujii Ryusei of "WEST." asked, "Is there anything you want to do or anywhere you want to go?" To which Shimekake confessed, "I've never been to Hawaii in my life..." Fujii was surprised and exclaimed, "What?!"
Other speakers, Hiroe Igeta and Yuki Matsushita, also said they had been to Hawaii, with Shichigosankake being the only one who had not. Fujii recommended, "You should go. It's like not having read 'One Piece'," comparing it to the popular manga. When Matsushita said, "Hawaii was amazing, so I'd like to go again," Fujii nodded and said, "You can go to Hawaii any number of times, right?"
The drama is a love suspense story based on the novel of the same name by Natsuhara Eiji (published by Kodansha). During a happy wedding reception, the bride Sayaka (played by Igeta) is poisoned by an unknown assailant. The groom, Hayashida Kazuomi (played by Fujii), teams up with photographer Sakuraba (played by Shichigosankake) to search for the culprit, but the hypocrisy of the people around them and Sayaka's "dark past" are gradually revealed.
