Ryusei Fujii of the popular group WEST. and Ryuya Shimekake of Travis Japan attended a press conference held at TV Asahi (Minato Ward, Tokyo) for the drama series "All for You" (TV Asahi, Saturdays at 11pm), which starts on January 10th. They spoke about their "ideal wedding" in reference to the drama's setting, which is a wedding reception.
When asked by a reporter, Fujii replied, "Hawaii." "A lot of people get married in Hawaii, right? I think it would simply be a lot of fun," he said, but added, "My younger sister recently had her wedding at Meiji Shrine. I've never experienced a Japanese-style wedding, so I thought that would be good too. I can't really answer right now, but whether to have a Hawaiian or a Japanese-style wedding."
Shichigosankake also revealed that he recently attended his sister's wedding, saying, "Towards the end of the reception, my sister read a letter to her parents, and then gave them a box of rice equal to the weight of rice she had when she was born. When my parents received it, they burst into tears, and when I saw it, I burst into tears too (laughs). I thought that was wonderful, and I think that's a great thing." Fujii agreed, saying, "I'll do that too! That's great!"
The drama is a love suspense story based on the novel of the same name by Natsuhara Eiji (published by Kodansha). During a happy wedding reception, the bride Sayaka (Igeta Hiroe) is poisoned by an unknown assailant. The groom Hayashida Kazuomi (Fujii) teams up with photographer Sakuraba (Shimesaka) to search for the culprit, but the hypocrisy of those around them and Sayaka's "dark past" are gradually revealed. Igeta and Matsushita Yuki, who plays Sayaka's mother, also appeared at the press conference.
