The 11th episode, "The Old Man and Nene," of the popular detective drama "AIBO Season 24" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays at 9:00 PM), starring Yutaka Mizutani and Yasufumi Terawaki, will air on January 7th. Daimonji Nene, the "female college student detective" played by Mizuki Kayashima, who appeared in the 2023 New Year's Day special of Season 21, will make a reappearance.
Kaoru (Terawaki) happens to meet Nene Daimonji, a mystery-loving university student whom she met several years ago during a case involving gold bars at a politician's house. Nene is currently investigating an incident that occurred at a reading salon on campus: a scoundrel writing spoilers in the margins of a mystery novel in the library.
Nene pursues the culprit together with the salon manager, Soga (Kyusaku Shimada). Ukyo (Mizutani), who is intrigued, goes to the salon in question and encounters a commotion.
As the atmosphere becomes tense, Ukyo, Nene, and Soga begin to work together to identify the person who posted the spoilers. Ukyo and Nene work together to solve the mystery. Meanwhile, Kaoru is tasked with tailing Ukyo!
The script was written by Yasuhiro Koshimizu and the director was Hajime Hashimoto.
