It was announced on January 5th that the second season of the TV anime "The Otome Game World is Tough for Mobs," based on a popular light novel published on the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Naro," titled "The Otome Game World is Tough for Mobs 2," will air in 2026. The first season of the series aired from April to June 2022, and the production of a sequel was announced in December of the same year. After a silence of about three years, it has now been decided that the second season will air in 2026.
A teaser visual for the second season has also been released. It depicts Leon, wearing different clothing than before, fighting while protecting Marie, who was supposed to be his enemy. The visual depicts Leon facing something amidst the air of gunpowder smoke, expressing Leon's new battle. New setting images of Leon, Olivia, Angelica, and Marie have also been released.
"The Otome Game World is a Harsh World for Mobs" is a light novel written by Mishima Yomu and illustrated by Meng Da. The story follows the protagonist, Leon, who is reincarnated as a mob character in the world of an otome game, as he uses his knowledge of games from his previous life to rise up in a society where women are superior to men.
