It has been announced that the second cour of the third season of the TV anime "One Punch Man," based on the manga currently being serialized on the web manga site "Tonari no Young Jump" (Shueisha), will be broadcast in 2027. A teaser visual and special trailer have been released, hinting at the clash between Saitama and Garou.
It was also announced that an exhibition commemorating the 10th anniversary of the "One Punch Man" anime, "Anime 10th Anniversary ' One Punch Man Exhibition'," will be held at the Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbo Park event space in Ikebukuro, Tokyo from June 26 to July 20, 2026. The ultra teaser visual for the exhibition has been released.
The series began as a website serialization by ONE in 2009, and the manga illustrated by Murata Yusuke has been serialized in Tonari no Young Jump since 2012. It depicts the exploits of Saitama, a hero who has acquired invincible power and can defeat any enemy with a single punch. The series has sold over 35 million copies in total. It has also been announced that it will be adapted into a live-action Hollywood movie.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2015, and the second season aired from April to July 2019. The first season of the third season began in October, and the final episode aired late at night on December 28th.
