It has been announced that a special event for the TV anime "SPY×FAMILY," based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," called "SPY×FAMILY ANIME EXTRA MISSION II," will be held in or near Tokyo on November 8, 2026. This will be the first large-scale standalone event for the series in about two and a half years, since the special event "SPY×FAMILY ANIME EXTRA MISSION" held in June 2024. The event was announced after the final episode of season 3 of the TV anime aired on December 27.
The event will feature the Forger family cast, including Takuya Eguchi as Lloyd Forger , Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger , Saori Hayami as Yol Forger , and Kenichirou Matsuda as Bond Forger , as well as Kensho Ono as Yuri Briar, who played an active role in the "Bus Hijacking Arc" and "Wheeler Arc" of Season 3, Natsumi Fujiwara as Damien Desmond, Emiri Kato as Becky Blackbell, and Ayane Sakura as Fiona Frost. A priority ticket application coupon will be included in the second volume of the Blu-ray and DVD of Season 3 of the TV anime, which will be released on May 20, 2026.
"SPY×FAMILY" began serialization on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+" in March 2019. The story follows a skilled spy who creates a temporary family for his mission and starts a new life. The father is a spy, the daughter has psychic powers, and the mother is an assassin, all of whom must live together while hiding their true identities. The comic series has sold over 41 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2022, the second season from October to December 2022, and season 2 from October to December 2023. The animated film "Spy × Family Code: White" was released in December 2023 and was a huge hit, grossing over 6.32 billion yen. Season 3 began airing in October and aired its final episode on December 27th.
