It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Magilumiere Co. Ltd.", based on the manga serialized in Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," will be broadcast on Nippon Television from July 2026. A teaser trailer has also been released showing the beginning of new tasks and challenges for the main character, Sakuragi Kana, and the employees of Majirumie.
It has been revealed that Toshiki Fukushima will be the director, Michiko Yokote will be the scriptwriter, Masahiro Fujii will be the chief animation director, and Makoto Miyazaki will be in charge of the music. Following the first season, JCSTAFF will be producing the anime.
"Magilumiere Co. Ltd." is a work x magical girl action manga written by Setsuka Iwata and illustrated by Yutaka Aoki. Set in a world where natural disasters known as "Kaii" exist and magical girls who exterminate them are recognized as a coveted profession, the story follows the protagonist, Kana Sakuragi, who joins the venture company, Magical Girl Co., Magilumiere Co. Ltd., as a new graduate and struggles as both a working adult and a magical girl. The first season of the anime aired from October to December 2024.
