This time, two dramas will be broadcast: "Gradation," written by Bakarhythm and starring Koji Yamamoto, and "Toilet Paper Race," written by Hata Masafumi and starring Nishino Nanase and Asari Yosuke.
"Gradation" depicts the surprising escape mission of three people, including Ueno, played by Yamamoto, who are taken hostage by a hostage-taking criminal. The world that unfolds from the single word "gradation" and the unique atmosphere that is comical yet strangely tense are unique to Bakarhythm. Furthermore, it is a masterpiece with a single situation that is typical of the "Non-REM" series.
The other, "Toilet Paper Race," is a comedy in which a wife, played by Nishino, and a husband, played by Asari, engage in a battle of wits over who should replace the toilet paper. Even though they don't think it's a chore at all, refilling and replacing the toilet paper can be a frustrating task. While many people may think it's ridiculous, they'll likely find it relatable to watch the escalating "toilet paper race."
The "Non-REM" series is now in its eighth installment. While it is part of the "Bakarhythm World," it can be said that he has developed a unique style that can now be called the "Non-REM World."
