A new series, "Shojohime," by ippatu, the author of the manga "Tora Tsugumi -TSUGUMI PROJECT-," will start in the combined April/May 2026 issue of the manga magazine "Young Magazine" (Kodansha), which will be released on December 22nd.
The new series will be a new interpretation of "Journey to the West," in which a sealed girl is freed by a handsome monk who happens to be passing by.
The issue's cover features Miss Magazine 2024 Grand Prix winner Hazuki Kurea and Miss Magazine 2025 Grand Prix winner Nagaoka Yukine.
