Episode 49 of the TV anime "SPY×FAMILY," based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo that is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," titled "Deadly Battle in the Sewers," will air on December 20th at 11:00 PM. The episode is now in the "Wheeler Arc," and the released cuts show a distressed Yuri and bloodshot-eyed Fiona.
In the previous episode, episode 48, "Level 3 Emergency," Yuri happens to show up just as Yoru is complaining to Lloyd. Lloyd tries to calm the situation somehow, but receives an emergency call from WISE and has to leave. It turns out that Wheeler, an insider, has smuggled information about WISE, including Operation Strix, outside. Yuri suspects Lloyd of having an affair and follows him with Yoru... and so the story unfolds.
"SPY×FAMILY" began serialization on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+" in March 2019. The story is about a skilled spy who starts a new life with a temporary family for the sake of his mission. The father is a spy, the daughter has psychic powers, and the mother is an assassin, and they all live together while hiding their true identities. Season 3 of the TV anime is currently airing on TV Tokyo and other channels every Saturday at 11pm.
