The latest volume 3 of the manga "Miharu's Battlefield," written by Hamada Gouten and illustrated by Fujimoto Kenshi, which is currently being serialized on Shogakukan's manga app "Manga One," was released on December 19th.
The story is set in the third world war, when Japan is divided and ruled by the great powers after fierce fighting. Miharu, a girl with genius sniping skills, meets Shou, a former sniper who "cannot shoot people," and is drawn into a battle that puts the life of the country on the line. It has also been a hot topic, having been ranked 7th in the "Men's Edition" of "This Manga is Amazing 2026."
Game creator Hideo Kojima has commented praising the game, saying, "On the battlefield, snipers and spotters function in two-man cells. This basic rule is clearly depicted. That is why this "war" is "real."
