Actor Haruka Ayase, who is the narrator of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring Ryusei Yokohama , appeared in the final episode (episode 48) of "Tsutajue Eika no Yumebanashi," which aired on December 14th. This is Ayase's third appearance in a drama, following episode 1 "Arigatayama no Kangarasu" (The Cold Crows of Arigatayama), which aired on January 5th, and episode 17 "Muraresaki Owari no Sakura" (The Cherry Blossoms of Wild Blooming Passage), which aired on May 4th.
In the final episode, Ayase appears before Tsutae (Yokohama) in the guise of a shrine maiden as Kurosuke Inari, who has "disguised himself as a person from the Edo period," and delivers a "message of death."
Ayase recalled, "I'm Kurosuke Inari. This is the third time I've appeared like this, occasionally disguised as a human. I had a lot of fun appearing like this occasionally. I always looked forward to coming down to earth and appearing as different people."
" UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama and depicts the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have laid the foundations for Japan's media industry and pop culture. The script was written by Yoshiko Morishita, who is known for her work on the highly talked-about "Drama 10: Ooku," which aired on NHK two years ago.
In the final episode, Tsutaju reopens his shop and continues to sell Sharaku's art. He then expands into the field of Japanese studies and continues to work energetically as a bookseller. However, one day, Tsutaju falls ill with beriberi.
While Teiya and Utamaro (Shota Sometani) and others are worried about him, he continues to create works and cultivate the world with calligraphy, despite his illness, together with his friends Masanori (Jun Hashimoto Furukawa), Shigemasa (Kenta Kiritani), Nanpo (Kenta Kiritani), and Kisanji (Toshinori Omi). Then, one night, Tsutae has a strange dream... and so the story unfolds.
