The seventh episode of the fifth season of the TV drama series " Emergency Interrogation Room " (TV Asahi, Thursdays at 9pm), starring Yuki Amami, entitled "Red Murderous Intent", was broadcast on December 4th, and became a hot topic, with viewers calling it "a rare ghost episode" and "a horror episode".

Popular tidying advisor Akie Akazawa (Mariko Kaga) is arrested on suspicion of attempting to murder her husband, Joji Akazawa ( Takahiro Fujimoto), who is 24 years younger than her. However, Joji completely denies the crime and threatens to sue the Metropolitan Police Department for false arrest with a large legal team he assembled through his connections as a former rugby player. Even during questioning by the "Emergency Case Response Investigation Team (commonly known as Kintori)" including Yukiko Makabe (Amami), he consistently maintained his love for Akie and his own innocence.
Meanwhile, mysterious phenomena occur, such as Yukiko's ballpoint pen falling by itself. Furthermore, Akie's secretary, Rika Yamamoto (Manami Satsukawa), who was having an affair with Joji, also claims to have seen Akie, causing a panic.
The truth of the incident was that Akie took her own life after learning that her beloved husband was after her fortune. At the end of the film, Akie appears before Yukiko and apologizes, saying, "I'm sorry for the trouble I caused you. I wanted to clean up my own life myself." Yukiko says with a sorrowful expression, "It was the perfect cleanup. But...it's a shame that he cleaned up himself as well. I wanted him to live and fight."
On social media, there were many comments such as, "It's surprising that Makabe is afraid of ghosts," "It wasn't just a mild horror episode, it was a full-blown horror episode," "You're kidding me!?" I couldn't help but shout out loud. Additionally, the scene in which Yukiko appears to be possessed by Akie while interrogating Joji also garnered a lot of attention, with comments such as "Yuki Amami's acting is so good I was shaking with fear. I really thought she was possessed, it's amazing," "Yuki Amami's final performance gave me goosebumps," and "Yuki Amami's acting was so amazing I was drawn in. It's amazing how she was able to make it look so similar."
