It has been announced that Yuichiro Umehara, Kappei Yamaguchi , Hiroki Tochi, and Toru Inada will be appearing as voice actors in the all-new movie version of the anime " Assassination Classroom , " based on the popular manga by Yusei Matsui . Umehara and others will be playing characters who will be appearing for the first time in the movie.
Umehara, who plays Seeker, commented, "I am very honored to be involved in the historic ' Assassination Classroom'. It was a lot of fun dubbing with my seniors as one of the assassins. There were many comedy scenes where I had to hold back my laughter during recording, and I hope that the energy and enthusiasm of the characters comes across to everyone. The character I played, Seeker, is a lovable character despite being an assassin, so I'm sure you'll find him charming. I hope you all enjoy your time with the movie ' Assassination Classroom'."
Yamaguchi, who plays Futoshi, said, "I participated in the film as Futoshi. As a regular customer at the Izakaya Azusa, I had a really fun time recording with the Assassin team. The tempo and atmosphere of the dialogue was great, and it felt like it was over in a flash! I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out^^"
Yamaji, who plays Mario, commented, "When I heard that I'd be playing a character targeting Korosensei, I thought, 'Leave it to me,' but when I actually played the role, it seemed like my heart was shot through first. That teacher easily dodges bullets and scripts -- it's like he's aiming to make us laugh from the other side of the screen. I thought that in 10 years, the target's location would change...but it turns out he's still right in the heart of the readers. Assassination Classroom is an absolutely terrifying work. Gun salute (I mean, celebratory gun), bang!"
Higashiji, who plays Chanta, said, "It's the hugely popular ' Assassination Classroom,' and it's a movie version, too! So I was really excited to record. My role is one of the assassins who is after Korosensei, and the voice actors for my fellow assassins are all amazing! It was really fun. I hope everyone looks forward to it!"
Inada, who plays Sengoku, said, "I've had the opportunity to appear in both of Yusei Matsui Yusei's previous anime adaptations, and I had vaguely thought that it would be great to appear in Assassination Classroom as well, an impossible dream, but it has come true in an unexpected way! Now that this has happened, I would like to appear in Matsui's next anime adaptation as well. But before I think about that, first of all, please watch this latest installment of Assassination Classroom!"
The new film is being produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the TV anime. It will feature a completely new animated version of episodes that have never been filmed before. It is scheduled to be released on March 20, 2026.
As part of the anime's 10th anniversary project, information has been announced about new theme songs for the TV anime, which is being rebroadcast on Fuji TV and other channels. The fourth opening theme will be "Setsuna Blossom," a new song by the anime's voice actor unit, "3-nen E-gumi Utatan." The rock band "Kaeri no Kai" will perform the third ending theme, "Spica."
