The seventh episode (166th episode overall) of the final season of the TV anime " My Hero Academia (Hiroaka)," based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), entitled "From Aizawa-kun," aired on November 15th. To commemorate the broadcast, chapters 59 and 60 of the official spin-off manga of "Hiroaka," "Vigilante - My Hero Academia ILLEGALS," will be made available for free for one week only from November 16th on Shueisha's manga app, "Shonen Jump+." The manga depicts the school days of Aizawa Shota, a pro hero and homeroom teacher of Class 1-A at U.A. High School.
"From Aizawa-kun" depicts a scene in which Aizawa and Present Mic are saved by Kurogiri's (= Shirakumo) "quirk," the Warp Gate, and so episodes 59 and 60, the first two episodes of "Vigilante's" "Aizawa Past Arc," will be released.
"My Hero Academia" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from July 2014 to August 2024. Set in a world where approximately 80% of the population possesses supernatural powers and quirks, the story follows Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, as he strives to become the greatest hero. The comics have sold over 100 million copies worldwide. The "FINAL SEASON" is currently airing every Saturday at 5:30 pm on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV.
"Vigilante" is an official spin-off of "My Hero Academia." The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June. There is also talk that the second season will begin airing in January 2026.
