Makoto (Yuri Nakamura) and Itsuki (Kusanagi) decide to head to Izu to follow in the footsteps of her parents, who had an illicit love affair. As they continue to investigate, the weather suddenly changes and all transportation from the Izu region to Tokyo is suspended. Furthermore, Makoto begins to feel unwell, so they search for a place to stay, but the inn they visit only has one room available.
Itsuki tries to find another facility, saying that they absolutely need two rooms, but Makoto is feverish and dizzy, so they decide to stay at an inn that has one room available. Itsuki quickly puts Makoto to bed, and notices that she has a call from her husband, Toshihito (Kaname Jun). Itsuki hesitates, but when he answers the phone, Toshihito says in a low voice, "I thought I was calling my wife's number, but who are you?"
The broadcast ended with Itsuki introducing himself as "Heaven's messenger Torikai." Social media was buzzing with excitement, with comments such as "The ending was so scary," "He answered the phone! What a scene," "He's going to answer the phone?! What a scene!", "Itsuki! You shouldn't answer the phone," "Why did you answer the phone lol," and "I can't wait to see the next episode."
This human drama follows Torikai Itsuki, an estate organizer who lost his wife five years ago and has a young son, as he and his colleagues at the estate organizer company "Heaven's Messenger" support families with various circumstances.
