The 32nd episode of the NHK Asadora"Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi as the heroine, was broadcast on November 11th. In this episode, Toki (played by Takaishi) begins her life as a maid, and the tense developments have attracted the attention of viewers.
On her first day as a maid at Heaven's ( Tommy Bastow), Toki is so nervous she can't even eat breakfast. Suspecting she might be a raschamen, Toki heads to Heaven's house, unable to tell her family. She is greeted by Heita (Namase Katsuhisa), Tsuru (Iketani Nobue), and Ume (Nouchi Maru) from the Hanada Inn.
Tsuru suggested to Toki, "I'd like Ume to stay with us as much as possible so that we won't be alone together. What do you think?" Ume also encouraged Toki, saying, "This is your first time working as a maid, right? So I think it would be better for me to take over or teach you, and with your condition, I don't think it would be strange for me to be there..." and said she would work with Toki and make sure that Toki and Heaven would not be alone together. Toki was grateful for the consideration of the people at Hanada Inn.
Toki's life as a maid begins amid fear and tension. After finishing breakfast, Heaven tells Toki to "put on the futon." Toki stiffens with tension, but Heaven gestures to explain that she wants him to fold it. Toki breathes a sigh of relief.
Night falls and Toki is left alone with Heaven. Heaven invites Toki to take a bath. Though Toki is scared, he prays that as long as he can hear the sound of Heaven's pen, everything will be fine, and that the sound will continue forever.
However, the sound of the pen stops, and Heaven calls out to Toki, "Shijimi-san..." The episode ends with a flash of Toki's profile as he weakly replies, "Yes."
Comments on social media included, "It was really bad for my heart...", "I was on edge the whole time", "Otoki's nervousness was palpable the whole time and it was a tense 15 minutes for me as well", "It's scarier than a bad ghost story lol", "The pace was so intense, the scenes where they were alone were so tense I felt like I was going to throw up", "I don't think Heaven-sensei wanted that sort of thing though...", and "I can't wait to see the misunderstanding cleared up and the two of them being lovey-dovey!!"
