The drama "When I Was Young, There Was a God" (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm) starring actor Yukiya Kitamura and co-starring Yukie Nakama has released the synopsis and stills for episode 5, which will air on November 6th.
Nagashima Shinichi (Kusakari Masao) and Satoko (Agawa Sawako) have returned to "Twilight States." The residents are holding a "Welcome Back & Welcome Party" for their grandchildren Rin (Wachi Yuzuha) and Makoto (Yamamoto Yuzuki), who are moving in with them.
After Rin and Makoto go to bed, Wataru Ogura (Kitamura) and Ann's (Nakama) son, Jun (Kotaki Nozomu), reveals to everyone why he became a firefighter. Something about what he says makes Ann feel uneasy.
The next morning, Shinichi is feeling down. Satoko tries to encourage him, but he is unable to cheer up and goes off to do some radio exercises. Then the lively residents of "Twilight States" arrive...
Yuzu (Kondo Hana) decides to make a movie about Higuchi Nao (Karin Ono) and Takamura Shiho (Anna Ishii), and follows them for a day.
That night, Ann remembers that she has a class reunion. "Why don't you just go?" she says lightly, to which Ann glares. Later, after hearing a talk at work about women's feelings regarding class reunions, Wataru calls out to Ann as she returns from the reunion, but...
The next morning, Satoko wakes up to find that Rin has disappeared...
The script was written by Yoshikazu Okada and is a home comedy about three families living in a retro apartment building.
