The loser of the Battle of Nagashino was Takeda Katsuyori, the successor of Takeda Shingen. Katsuyori, who was originally not the eldest son but ended up leading the Takeda clan, also saw his life as a struggle against his late, great father.
The Battle of Nagashino was fought against the opposition of Shingen's vassals in the capture of the impregnable Takatenjin Castle, and the unknown escape that followed. The second battle for Takatenjin Castle decided his fate. This program will depict the tragedy of this young, great general and the Takeda clan, incorporating the results of the latest research and thorough on-site investigations.
