The ninth episode of the Tuesday drama "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, aired on June 2nd. Ryuhei Maruyama of the popular group "SUPER EIGHT" appeared as Taiyo Nishikawa, a former regular customer of Oedo (Kenichi Matsuyama). Viewers commented, "Maru-chan's acting was amazing."

For Oedo, Nishikawa was an unforgettable figure. When Oedo had just become independent, Nishikawa was the first new customer to visit the shop. Nishikawa and Oedo hit it off and he became a regular customer at important milestones in Oedo's life.
On one occasion, after savoring some sushi in Edo, Nishikawa revealed that she was expecting a child soon and began by saying, "Delicious food is the future."
"When you find something delicious, you want to eat it again, and you want to tell your loved ones about it and share it with them. I learned from coming to Oedo's restaurant that 'delicious' is about thinking about the future," he said gratefully. Since then, Oedo has cherished Nishikawa's words.
On social media, comments included: "Maru-chan's acting was amazing," "I was moved to tears by Maruyama-san's warm and humane performance," "Even the most casual lines become softer when Maruyama-san speaks them; his presence is truly unique," "Maru-chan is so good at acting with his voice and facial expressions...that's why I was drawn in even more," and "The episode with the regulars and Professor Oedo was wonderful."
The drama will air its final episode on June Getsuku. On social media, many people are expressing their regret that it's ending, saying things like, "It's the final episode already? It's going by so fast," "I'm sad it's ending - don't let it end," and "I don't want it to end next week."
