The main promotional video for the second season of the anime " Baki-Dou, " based on the fourth part of Keisuke Itagaki 's fighting manga series "Baki," has been released on YouTube. The video begins with Miyamoto Musashi elegantly cutting down the underground arena fighters and defiantly declaring, "It's starting, Tokugawa. It's war." It depicts a battle to determine the strongest warrior across time, with Pickle fiercely baring his fangs with just his body against the overwhelmingly powerful Musashi, Motobe Izou delivering a full-force blow with his fists fitted with brass knuckles, and Hanayama Kaoru directly blocking Musashi's sword with just his bare fists.
In the PV, Musashi is shown slashing down enemies one after another, and when asked if he will be making an enemy of the nation, he replies with provocative words, "Are you sure you want this...? Even if I cut down your country...?" and the battle escalates into a large-scale conflict between Miyamoto Musashi and the nation.
The artists performing the theme songs have also been announced. The band "Chevon" will be in charge of the opening theme (OP) "Rokunowa," and the dance and vocal group "Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS" will be in charge of the ending theme (ED) "KATANA."
It was also announced that the first season of the anime will begin airing on television on TOKYO MX and other channels from July 5th.
" Baki-Dou" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten) from 2014 to 2018. After the "strongest father-son fight on Earth" came to an end, Baki and other veteran fighters are overcome with unbearable boredom, while behind the scenes, a plan to revive the swordsman Miyamoto Musashi is underway 364 meters underground at Tokyo Skytree. The story depicts the fierce battle between Baki and his allies against Miyamoto Musashi, who has been revived through scientific technology. The anime will be exclusively streamed worldwide on Netflix starting June 18th.
The "Baki" series is a fighting manga that depicts the battles of fighters such as Baki Hanma, the champion of the underground arena, and Baki's father, Yujiro Hanma, who is known as the "strongest creature on Earth." The first part, "Grappler Baki," began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Champion" in 1991. The latest installment in the series, "Baki Rahen," is currently being serialized in the same magazine. Like "Baki-Dou" and "Hanma Baki," "Baki Hanma" will have its anime adaptation produced by TMS Entertainment.
