The second episode of the TV anime "SANDA," based on the manga by Paru Itagaki, who is also known for "BEASTARS," titled "Carrots, Sticks, Kisses, and Blades," will be broadcast on the late-night anime slot "Animeism" on MBS, TBS, and other channels from late at night on October 10th.
Mita's roommate, Amaya Isshi, finds out that he is Santa Claus. Out of pure curiosity as a child, Amaya restrains the transformed Santa and Fuyumura and forces them to kiss. However, Santa, who believes in "not laying hands on children," refuses. Using his new power, he makes sleds appear on his feet and succeeds in freeing himself from the restraints. In the midst of this commotion, the school principal, Oshibu, appears.
"SANDA" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten) from July 2021 to July 2024. It is a unique "Santa Claus" hero action story set in a near-future Japan where children are overly protected in an era of extremely low birth rates. The anime is directed by Tomohisa Shimoyama, known for "Yurei Deco" and "SUPER SHIRO," and produced by Science SARU. Ayumu Murase plays the role of Mita Kazushige, and Tochi Hiroki plays the role of Santa Claus.
