On October 7th, Shintaro Moriyama of the comedy duo "Mitorizu" appeared on Abema's romance reality show "Love Catcher Japan 2." During the studio talk, he talked about his "bitter memories" of romance.
As the MCs began talking about romantic regrets, Moriyama reminisced about his time in junior high school. "When I was in my third year of junior high school, I was exchanging emails with a second-year student on my cell phone, and I knew she loved me 100%. I had no experience in love, but I was waiting for her to confess her feelings, and I ended up using up too much data (data charges), so my parents broke my cell phone in half," he said with a wry smile.
"I lost contact with her after that. If she hadn't broken my phone, I probably would have married her when I was about 18," he fantasized, to which his partner Lily retorted, "You're overthinking it."
