Singer MIQ (MIO), known for performing the theme songs for the anime series "Aura Battler Dunbine Heavy Metal L-Gaim-Gaim," released her best-of album "Perfect Best" digitally on October 10th. The album includes the theme songs for "Aura Battler Dunbine: Aura of Valkyries," "Dunbine Flying," and "Vistone Well, You Can See It," as well as the theme songs for "Heavy Metal L-Gaim: Aura of Valkyries," "L-Gaim -Time for L-GAIM-," and "Starlight Shower." Her 1984 album "STARLIGHT SHOWER" and her 1985 album "Mr. Monday Morning" have also been released on subscription services.
MIQ commented, "How are you all? It's MIO, now MIQ!! I'm happy to announce that my songs from my debut with King Records will be released digitally!! It's like a reward for continuing to sing... MIQ made her debut in 1982 with the song "HEY YOU," which was an insert song for the anime "Combat Mecha Xabungle." She went on to perform the theme songs for "Mobile Suit Gundam: Aura of Aura Battler Dunbine" and "Heavy Metal L-Gaim" in 2013, and continued to perform after that, including participating in the live show "Super Robot Spirits." Last year marked the 40th anniversary of her debut.
