" Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora. Based on the life of Yakumo Koizumi(Lafcadio Hearn) and his wife Setsu, the story follows the heroine, who loves ghost stories, as she lives her ordinary, everyday life with her foreign husband. The story is not based on an original novel, but is an original work by screenwriter Mitsuhiko Fujiki, who has worked on NHK's drama "Asagaya Sisters' Relaxed Life" and WOWOW's "Shooting Break Series."
In the second episode, even in the Meiji era, the Matsuno family is unable to give up their samurai pride and are unable to work. When asked about her future dreams in elementary school, Toki (Miharu Fukuchi) is influenced by the answer of her best friend Sawa Nozu(Aiju Koyama) and says she wants to become a teacher. As the daughter of a samurai family, Toki was taught tea ceremony and other skills by her relative Ushimizu(Keiko Kitagawa), but she tells him she wants to quit in order to study to become a teacher.
Toki is dejected after being told that a samurai's daughter doesn't need to work, when Tae's husband, Den (played by Shinichi Tsutsumi), appears before her. Scene cuts have also been released.
