A stage greeting to celebrate the release of the animated film " Chainsaw Man , " based on Tatsuki Fujimoto 's popular manga, was held at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) on September 20th, featuring appearances from Kikunosuke Toya Denji, and Reina Ueda, who plays Reze. "Reze Arc" tells the story of Reze and the protagonist Denji, who also appeared at the end of the TV anime that aired from October to December 2022, and became a hot topic. Ueda, who plays Reze, said about the recording, "I tried to play a girl who is so attractive that Denji has to wonder who he likes more, Reze or Makima. I tried my best to play a cute girl who is within reach and make his heart race."
Ueda also plays Bom, and revealed, "Bom became a subtraction. I shifted my focus to stealing her heart. I tried to make it seem like there was another girlfriend, Reze and Bom, so I tried not to make her a completely different person."
Toya commented on Ueda, who plays Reze, "I felt a closeness to him. Every word he said made me feel like he liked me. He was natural without being artificial, and in the second half I felt a sense of fear, and the contrast brought out something in me." Ueda added, "(Toya) values a lively feeling in his acting, and he conveys his emotions at the time, rather than a pre-established harmony, so I felt like he was leading me."
Also appearing on stage to greet the audience were Tomori Kusunoki, who plays Makima, Shogo Sakata, who plays Hayakawa Aki, Yuya Uchida, who plays the Violent Demon, Maaya Uchida, who plays the Angel Devil, and Karin Takahashi, who plays Higashiyama Kobeni.
