#LookingForZombies will be made into a TV anime in 2026

It has been announced that "#ZombieSagarimasu," a manga by Katsuwo, known for works such as "Mitsuboshi Colors" and "Hitoribocchi no XX Seikatsu," which challenges new territory, will be made into a TV anime in 2026.

The story is a "zombie x youth comedy" serialized in "Comic Dengeki Daioh" (KADOKAWA). 13 years have passed since the "Red Day" when 90% of humanity was turned into zombies by a mysterious infectious disease. Aki, a girl born in a village isolated from zombies, sets out into the outside world overrun with zombies with her childhood friends Haru and Natsuki to search for her father who left the village.

The original author, Katsuwo, commented, "Exploring, making traps, and bombs. Even though there are zombies, everyday life is somehow fun. 'Looking for Zombies' is now being made into an anime! It's been over a year since I first heard that it would be made into an anime. Ever since then, I've been wondering what kind of voice Aki has. I think the cast will be decided in the future.
