The 23rd episode of the TV anime "Witch Watch," based on the popular manga by Kenta Shinohara currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), entitled "My First Exam/Oshiesinishi: The Writing Storm/Oshiesinishi: The Stormy Venue," will be broadcast on September 14th in the MBS/TBS Sunday 5pm anime slot "Nichigo."
Masukuwa-sensei and Cook are collaborating on a fan-made manga based on "Uron Mirage." The original author is struggling to come up with a name, and with time until the event, Cook decides to practice his drawing. Cook reveals to Masukuwa-sensei that he's become friends with someone who often replies to his tweets, and suggests meeting up in person tomorrow for an offline get-together. Worried, Masukuwa-sensei decides to follow Cook-sensei without telling him.
"Witch Watch" is a manga by Shinohara, known for "SKET DANCE" and "Astra Lost in Space," which began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in February 2021. It is a fantastical "magical" comedy depicting the cohabitation life of Wakatsuki Nico, a girl training to become a witch, and her childhood friend, Otogi Morihito (Morihito), a high school student with the powers of a demon. Morihito is tasked with protecting Nico from a prophesied disaster as a familiar, and so begins a mysterious and arduous journey. The anime will be directed by Ikehata Hiroshi, known for "Kiratto Pri☆Chan," and produced by Vibury Animation Studio, known for "The Quintessential Quintuplets ∫∫."
