The lineup for Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi, Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM), which will air from September 15th to 19th, has been announced. Comedian Hiroshi will appear on the 15th, Fujimori Shingo from the comedy duo "Oriental Radio" on the 16th, actor Shibata Rie on the 17th, singer Ono Risa on the 18th, and actor Furumura Hiro on the 19th.
Hiroshi is 53 years old. He said he wanted to live alone, but now he spends his days happily chatting to his two cats in a "cat-stroking voice." He enjoys his single life, but says there is someone he wants to marry.
Fujimori got married last year and says he can't help but adore his daughter, who is less than a year old. His wife, who is 15 years younger than him, had a difficult birth and decided to have a Caesarean section, but he burst into tears when he heard the baby's first cry. He spoke of his gratitude to his wife.
Shibata lost his mother in January. She passed away at the age of 95, but it seems she continued to strive for her goals until the very end. She started keeping a dog, stopped going out drinking, and now hosts drinking parties at home.
Ono made her debut 36 years ago and attracted attention as the first Japanese singer to perform bossa nova. She was born in Brazil, where her father emigrated, and after returning to Japan, she began singing Brazilian songs at the age of 15 in a bar her father opened. She will be singing classic songs in the studio.
Komura was diagnosed with cervical cancer 13 years ago at the age of 46 and underwent surgery, but the cancer recurred five years later and she is now battling cancer for the fourth time. While battling cancer, she raised three sons, and in April her first grandchild was born, and she spoke about the joys of raising grandchildren.
