TV Asahi's "Dora Dora Daisakusen" begins

TV Asahi's October programming was announced on September 10th, and it was revealed that a new program, "Dora Dora Daisakusen," will start on Saturdays from 12:30am to 1am. This will be an experimental drama slot staffed by young employees.

At a briefing on the programming changes held at the company's headquarters (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on the same day, it was explained that "we would like to have our young creators propose ideas that do not stick to the production style of dramas that have been used up until now...for example, vertical dramas, and actively use this time slot to broadcast them, in order to explore new ways of presenting dramas."

Regarding the broadcast format, they stated that "we would like to decide on a work-by-work basis," and added that "we are not yet at a stage where we can announce details."
