Hiroko Sakurai , who played Officer Akiko Fuji in the special effects drama "Ultraman," will be releasing a book on September 19th titled "Heroine's Recollections: Ultra Bonds" (Rittosha), in which she writes about her memories of Tsuburaya's works.
Sakurai solidified the popularity of Tsuburaya works as the heroine of "Ultra Q" and "Ultraman," and in recent years has been working hard as a coordinator for Tsuburaya Productions to convey the appeal of the "Ultraman" series to future generations.This is a memoir in which she shares her memories of appearing in 40 episodes of 15 Tsuburaya works.
The mission given to him by director Toshihiro Iijima, the creator of Alien Baltan, and screenwriter Shozo Uehara, known for works such as "Space Command M774," will also be revealed.
A signing session will be held at the event "TSUBURAYA CONVENTION 2025" to be held at Tokyo Dome City (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) on September 13th and 14th.
