Animelo Summer Live (Anisama) 2025 "ThanXX!", a large-scale anime song live event, was held at Saitama Super Arena (Chuo Ward, Saitama City). On August 31st, the final day of Anisama, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki was the final performer. Since her appearance at the first Anisama in 2005, Mizuki has been the final performer a record eight times, the most in Anisama history, and this time she has broken her own record. This will be Mizuki's 11th appearance at Anisama, and the first time in eight years.
Mizuki performed "Kodo," the opening theme for the TV anime "#Compass2.0," and "DISCOTHEQUE," the opening theme for the TV anime "Rosario + Vampire Capu2," back-to-back, smiling and saying, "It's so exciting and feels amazing!" Looking around the packed venue, she expressed deep emotion, saying, "I really feel the history and weight of Anisama." Looking back at the first Anisama, she said, "At the time, we were still feeling our way around," and "We were saying, 'It'd be great if this became a festival that continues every year,' and now it's been 20 years. The amount of fabric in Mizuki's costumes will increase. I've grown up. But I'll still keep showing my thighs," which drew huge cheers.
Next, Masami Okui, also a performer in the first event, appeared on stage, and the two performed "WILD EYES," the ending theme of the TV anime "Basilisk: The Koga Ninja Scrolls," which Mizuki said was "the last song she sang in 2005." Finally, they ran around the stage and passionately sang "Synchrogazer," the opening theme of the TV anime "Senki Zesshō Symphogear," bringing the final act to a close.
Anisama is an anime song festival that began in 2005 and is now in its 20th year. This year's event was held from August 29th to 31st, with a total of 50 artists appearing.
