The 1990s dramas "Akujo A・B" and "Akujo II: Murder in Saint-Emilion," starring singer Akina Nakamori, will be rebroadcast on the CS Home Drama Channel from 7:30 pm on August 31st.
In "Bad Girl A & B," Nakamori vividly portrayed two completely different villainous characters: one who repeatedly commits murders for insurance money from marriages, and the other who manipulates two men to plan a jewel robbery. When the drama aired in 1991, the extreme content and Nakamori's alluring and powerful acting caused a big stir.
"The Villainess II: Murder at Saint-Émilion" is the second installment in the "Villainess" series, and is set in Saint-Émilion, France, where the story unfolds with love and desire swirling in human relationships and the mystery of a murder case intertwined with it. When a daughter who was doted on by her father grows up to find love, a series of bloody murders occur... Nakamori's portrayal of the villainous Reiko, whose beauty and allure further accentuates the drama's mysterious atmosphere. The film was released in 1993.
